The real gains in the TFSA are to be made using equity swaps with your RRSP or cash account.... No need to sell at the peak when you can transfer many multiples of the peaks and lows to purge your RRSP assets into your TFSA.

This requires having several thinly traded stocks that have large swings in price.... This loophole may get plugged soon... but at this time equity swaps have not recieved the attention of the CRA.... After the first year has passed and the reporting is done, revealing the loophole, you can bet it will get their attention.... Mine is over 20 years contibutions allready, and my RRSP is corresponingly reduced in value. ( all without selling a share)
