I don't think WTG management would be looking to 'punish' anyone - that makes no sense. You may very well feel that way...nobody likes to see a huge paper loss.
I think WTG/CMM management underestimated how much the market (analysts and commercial) would punish them for their antics. Ironically, the minority shareholders are to blame. If they hadn't dragged the whole sordid mess into the open; I doubt we'd be looked upon so negatively by the market...interesting...no?
So, I suspect management have a fairly stiff headwind out there in the open; trying to promote our company. As I've said many times - the only thing that matters now are numbers that show the mines are operating profitably and according to plan. We have not seen these yet. Additionally, they would be smart to not roll out the updated NI43-101's until there is some positive production results...the market doesn't care about what is in the ground if it can't be converted.
