Shaking the tree 4retire??

I'd say the proverbial tree has been bled of all it's sap to the point the root system's water source within 250 metre has been depleted to arid conditions. The collected sap has then been boiled down using 50 million dollars of hard cash (as tinder) followed by branches (from the tree itself) as fuel. This syrup has then been 'sold' to the Quebec miners through compulsory wage garnishing.

Subsequently, what remains of the tree has been bulldozed and fed into the cone crusher, ensuring that it once again breaks. The resulting franken-pulp has then been washed with acidic mine tailings to produce paper on which the latest confusing and uninformative news releases have been written on.
