FWIW: I have been monitoring the SH board this morning. Two posters ,presumably shareholders, remarked that they have received phone calls directly from WTM within the past day or so inquiring as to whether they had received their shareholder packets concerning the Annual General Meeting scheduled for this coming week -Aug 13, 2009

Both posters thought this was unusual, at least in their investment experience,and didn't know what to make of it?

As a shareholder, myself, I received the same packet complete with proxy vote ballot covering such issues as the adaptation of the shareholders rights plan, etc ; likely many of the readers here did as well. I did not receive a phone call; nor do I expect to receive one since I live in U.S.

I do not attach any particular significance to the above, just wanted to pass it on in case anyone here might be interested or would care to comment on it.

Also, another poster indicated the Globe and Mail in todays' Fri. issue contained a piece on WTM by Anwar Ali -Market call BNN. I was unable to find it online.
