WebTech Wireless Announces Change in Year-End
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2008) - WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading supplier of location-based and fleet Telematics services, today announced that it is changing its year-end to December 31, with the first such year-end occurring on December 31, 2008.

Our change in year-end is intended to align our fiscal reporting more closely with seasonality of our business and to align our year-end with those of our industry peers - the majority of whom report on a calendar basis," said Scott Edmonds, Chief Financial Officer, WebTech Wireless Inc. "Our next reported results will be for the three months ended October 31, 2008, after which we will report results for the two months and five months ended December 31, 2008.
