Message: Why Will it Be Quicker & Less Expensive to Drill "Wendy Point"

Who is the top notch drilling outfit that VIT has hired? Why is it going to be quicker and cheaper to drill at our Cove “Windy Point” target?

I didn't ask Chad who there new drilling contractor is. He just mentioned they were top notch, expensive, but well worth the additional cost. I mentioned the fact that VIT would be implementing a different drilling technique than they formerly used to drill Cove’s "Helen Zone" - a technique that will end up being quicker and less expensive. All of the holes that were drilled at the "Helen Zone" involved Core Drilling which is very expensive and time consuming. Some of the holes that were previously drilled at our Cove "Helen Zone" took two to three months to drill. The first 1000 meters or so did not unveil substantial gold grades. Instead of using a "Core Drilling Technique" for the entire depth of the holes they will be drilling at "Windy Point", our company will now use a "Reverse Circulating Drilling Technique" for the first 1000 meters or so, and then they will implement a "Core Drilling Technique" for the remaining depth that is to be drilled. Since "Reverse Circulating Drilling" is much cheaper and faster, the overall cost of drilling holes at "Wendy Point" will be much cheaper and will entail substantially less time to drill.

Definitions of reverse circulation drilling on the Web:

produces rock chips rather than core. Faster and cheaper than diamond drilling, it can be used for reconnaissance drilling. The chips are forced by air to the surface for examination. RIB or Reverse Air Blast drilling is similar.
