Recently I sent an email to Chad and asked him some questions as to what depth NW-15 was drilled, and whether or not its depth exceeded their targeted depth. Raul Madrid sent me an email with the answers to my questions and they are shown below:
NW-15 was drilled to a depth of 2740 feet, but the target was at approximately 2400 ft and was hit. Normally, drilling goes to depths of about 200 feet below the target depth, but in this case, we hit a post-mineral fault and drilled to get out of that.
Perhaps Solobeamer can shed some light on post-mineral faults. I would welcome any comments regarding the above information.
