Hi, Chilled.. Thanx for cluing me into to this board. Pretty well-informed participants.
I'm invested in VIT only to the tune of a few thousand shares at the moment; I'll get in deeper if the trading pattern turns more definitive and positive. Right now the trading is pretty uninformative; both the buying and selling is steady but it's not possible ( for me) to get a feel for who's doing what.
Gateway took out that Merrill block (300,000 + shares) at the last minute on the 24th - the last tax-loss day, but I think that may have been just a high-rolling private trader taking advantage of a distressed sale. Maybe you or someone else here knows more about that. Gateway seems to have sold most of that block @ .24 average.
In any case, VIT bears close attention as there's a good chance it will move out of this range explosively in the near future. There's a good chance it won't, of course, but the nature of the game is tracking probabilities and this one is definitely interesting.
Kinross' further involvement means $$ won't be an issue if they find the goods and they have more than enough to do a thorough exploration (or 2 or 3).
Cheers,
Dr. Fill
