The Company's Eagle Gold Project in Yukon Canada hosts a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Reserve of 2.3 million ounces of gold.
Hey Thomas,
You know, I do read all your posts - even when some of them have a bit of a disconnect and I have of a hard time sometimes understanding where you are coming from - although I don't doubt your intentions.
You have been on this thing of you think that insiders should be buying to support...I understand what you are saying - but if you had been there at the YVR AGM two summers ago as several of us were - or likely the same in TO (you could ask James or who else was there) - but when they brought up the geos and crew for VIT to see how it was on the other side of the table (for us retail guys!)...man, those boys jest like us! They have wives and mortgages and dreams - and they all want this company to go - and take them with it - and most of them get shares and/or options for performance in lieu of much upfront cash. So who is calling them less for not buying more?
As Ken Kesey said - you are either on the bus - or off the bus. So you either believe or you don't...and you are either believed or you aren't...so which is it, Thom? Do you want the kind of company where guys are doing squiggly things on the side (and I could give you a list of those that I watch...some of which, sadly, I have money in, more's the pity) - or would you prefer a co. where there is at least the feeling that there is some kind of overview and governance (and potential!)?
You can't have it every which way - you can't say you are promoting and supporting a company by your continued ownership of shares while questioning the belief in the path that company management has taken (to keep things above board)...this is a common enough ploy used on other boards, and I personally don't believe that you are one of those guys, Thomas. So, maybe ask a question of Chad or whoever personally - but don't make a storm in a tea-cup on an issue where they are so obviously far in front of you (and me too - I am just an ordinary guy).
So maybe we should all give this whole question a rest...you don't need to open up a wound that is trying to heal. If things go haywire with how you think it was explained to you, then you can rightfully bitch - but give these guys a break at this time. Thanks,
El D.
