this issue of acquisitions keeps coming up.

thanx james you addressed this before, but i still am doubtful.

1) don't believe relationship with kinross is a source of free financing. think acquisition likely to mean dilution & financing.

2) absolutely don't believe key personnel should be farmed out for free aka in lieu of payment for acquisition. however stranger things have happened.

also:

think the recently-discussion question why East-West didn't file about their big acquisition for about half a year - from november/07 to july/08 - could legitimately be raised with VIT management, surely they have the answer. problem i have is that east-west is too savvy to pretend it was an oversight, but on the other hand i don't see any reason for east-west to delay on purpose. there might be an advantage that i'm missing. James, when communicating with VIT mgement could you ask them about why this delay happened. would appreciate.

to pangea:

VIT drilling also has to be slow because of the depth; they have to pull the drill completely out every 15 minutes or so to remove the cores ... thinggaboud it.

Insider trading: the official depository is sedi.ca. all insiders & significant holders must file to sedi. all other websites derive from sedi data base. the sedi website is difficult to navigate until you get the hang. select "summary reports." good luck.

i for one don't mind R Madrid's trading. it's part of his remuneration & he's done well. if only we were all as perspicacious. apparently he has a knack for this. but you'll note the others are holding on like barnacles.
