LaMetropole Comments Regarding VIT's Weakness

Then, from Dave in Denver…

I'm beginning to wonder if the large mining companies are sponsoring the naked shorting of these junior exploration stocks as a way to drive them out of business so that they can buy the properties out of bankruptcy?

There are several juniors which have recently released some startling drilling/assay results and the stocks are even lower, despite this big run up in HUI/gold.

Take Victoria Resource Corp, for instance. It's now lower than where it was when it made a blockbuster drilling release that took the stock from the .70's to over $1.70 back in December. It has made a couple of very high quality drill result announcements, including one today, the stock keeps getting hit with selling. It makes no sense whatsoever, other than that KGC and NEM each have an ownership stake in VIT.V and probably have a pretty good idea what Victoria is sitting on, and would love to be able to snatch the property on the cheap.
