Don't worry! IMO, continued good drilling news and an accelerated advance in gold bullion will put a KIBOSH on Victoria's recent down move. Obviously there appears to be a lot of "Doubting Thomas's" on both the duration of the recent up move in gold as well as future drilling results. More than likely some of the selling pressure is due to the bear market move in the overall equity markets - I am sure many leveraged investors are selling off other equities to meet margin calls and this fact may have created some selling in the junior exploration companies. Technically, this stock broke down when its bullish support line was broken at .85, but this time around, I believe the improving fundamentals for this company, as well as the positive outlook for rising gold prices, will trump its poor technical attributes.. I thought that I was finished buying VIT, but for the reasons stated above, I stepped up to the plate on Friday and added to my holdings at .7085 C.
Always keep in mind that investors should limit their investments in junior exploration companies to their speculative capital. Investing in juniors is high risk, but they also offer the potential for high rewards. You have to make your own decision as to the appropriateness of investing your capital in this type of investment.
