Update: When Can We Expect Drilling Assay Reports?

Hole #8 should have reached its target depth by now, or within a few days, and assay reports should take 2 to 6 weeks depending on whether or not there was a "rush" request. "Rush requests" for assay reports can be completed sometimes within a couple of weeks. Therefor, we should have results back from assay reports sometime between the middle of May or the end of May. Hole #9 is at 1000 feet, and according to Chad Williams, VIT should have a new rig within "days" - thus drilling this hole won't be completed for at least another 2 weeks after drilling recommences and wedges inserted to adjust for azimuth deviation - and then another 2 to 6 weeks for assay results. Hole #10 should still be on target for completion and assay reports received by late June. The question is whether or not VIT will delay any press releases until all three holes are complete and assay results received. I would presume that if the drilling results on hole #8 confirm high grade gold mineralization, that the company will report those results as soon as they have been received - before the end of May in my estimation. If results from #8 are sub-par, then I would expect drilling results to be combined with the results of hole #9 and possible #10 in the later part of June. If you start seeing some volume pick up with modest upticks or a substantial increase in the size of bids in VIT's stock with no news, it could be a tip off that some good news is forthcoming.

Bottom line is that we could see some drilling results by mid to late May, and definitely some results before the end of June. VIT is a bargain @.92 IMO, currently selling at a 57% discount below the average price target reported by four junior gold analyst (1.45 C).
