When you are drilling deep holes all kinds of problems can occur. I am not a geologist, but it stands to reason that until you actually encounter a problem, how do you know that the rig you are using is equiped to deal with that problem. I give credit to the drill manager for recognizing the problem, pulling the rig off the platform, and then seeking out a rig that can deal with the problem. What do you think would have happened had you not had a drilling manager? What about the fact that Victoria has changed its policy on conpensating drilling crews to actual feet drilled and not an hourly wage? What they did is eliminate any conflict of interest, and in the process there drilling costs is going down. The drilling process is very complex and unless you are a geologic engineer like Marcos and Dr. Raul Madrid, you have no idea of the problems you can encounter even though you have a great drilling manager. Victoria has the expertise to deal with whatever problems they incur. Not every junior gold company has the expertise to deal with the numerous problems that are encountered with drilling a hole.
