The Company's Eagle Gold Project in Yukon Canada hosts a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Reserve of 2.3 million ounces of gold.
this is the run down by roos2000 posted about the VIT meeting.
i may make some additional comments later.
roos2000's post
sorry for posting late, but had to travel, work hard and no time to post at all.anyhow,.. all is fine with vit. we might expect results of hole 6&7 in about 6 weeks. drilling as we speak, before going to the lab in about two to three weeks. that means if they decide to release these holes seperately, which is not set in stone yet. otherwise the whole series of drillings will be released at once which might take till end of april/beginning of may. it takes one month per hole, on these depths- about 90 feet a day.
the phoenix converence was really accessable and not crowded at all. and so were the vit executives. with a small group of vit investers we spend quite some time with the entire team- raul, chad, linda and marcus- decent and hardworking people, open to share and open for our worries. no two ways about it.
chad totally understood that the retail shareholder would be pleased with more and above all with a more steady stream of info. they will work on that, specifics to follow soon.
by all means raul is the star of the company. the man has a very strong and smart mind. and as we all know is a top geologist and really knows his stuff in nevada. he also is an vietnam veteran and has been around. he also understands share value very well. has sold some of his shares over the past time and might buy back in the upcoming period. explained some of the trouble, news wise, they were facing during the take over period. it has been a rough ride for all involved. those days are gone now.
we discussed the basics as we all know; 8 properties about 2 milj ounces each. on the question if there could be more under the ground, raul denied, and answered i believe in my knowledge, i know, i don't sell concepts, i don't gamble. the man is sharp as a razor blade.
two drills working right now on mccoy. 11 milj. in the bank and a burning rate of 850.000/month. one drill waiting at the canadian border with some custom problems to be solved soon.
mccoy will stay the focus for the next two to three months, after that it depends on results but drilling other properties is definately in the plans. it feels like they don't want to add too much costs to the burning rate at the moment and waiting for results to reconsider expenses and extra drills. jmho. no privat placement scheduled yet, said chad. also no evidence the mother company is buying shares. the board member from the mother company, acts like a vit member and there have been no problems in company policy after the take over.
mr. madrid has a lot of devotion for his work and a very strong special interest and understanding of the nevada mineralisation systems. it feels like his opus magnum, jmho. mr. madrid spoke about vit in relation to leave his family financial independent. his devotion is immense.
he is very positive over marcus, who seems to be his best man in the geoligists team. also a smart and spiritual guy by the way, has his family also invested in vit he told me.
right now the company has a total of 10 geologists on the payroll. joint ventures are currently not really considered at least not by mr raul. he considers vit's properties with the gold price of today seriously undervalued and 'doesn't want to give anything away for these prices at the moment'.
they only misdrilled once, which has been explained as a mistake and a result of miscommunication. raul is quite confident they will hit again. the geologist from the big companies around are highly eager to find out of his secret so to speak and watching carefully.
overall the management team felt sober and strongly business focused. for all the corporate info, and discussion the geology with mr raul, i have to look into my notes, not to make mistakes in writing it down again and have to do that some other time. work is calling. hope this solves your worry and interest for the moment. regards, roos 2000
