In March of 2004, VIT hit an all-time-high @ 2.30 Canadian. The total value of the stock outstanding at that point was 71,965,152 based on 33,847,649 shares. The total value of VIT shares outstanding today is 93,559,698 which is equivalent to 2.76 per share based on the number of shares outstanding in 2004.  Most investors who look at the chart on VIT since 2004 would conclude that VIT @ 1.30 a share today is well below its former high @ 2.20. This is obviously not the case. Lesson to learn in comparing prices on charts is to adjust them for the shares outstanding.
