The Company's Eagle Gold Project in Yukon Canada hosts a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Reserve of 2.3 million ounces of gold.
informavore, nice post.
super glad the Bema crew is gone from VIT. they were completely the reason nothing happened with positive movement or growth. at least in the down dark times the GEOS were extremely busy mapping out all the properties. we will be hitting it hard in 2008. Even possibly summit? NICE....go back to that interview question and re read the numbers of width he is talking about!!!! insane.
i would have to say i am less worried about a kinross takeover then i was before. i know over the summer bemaB thought it was almost a done deal and we would be taken out at $2 or so...but the sentiment has changed and i like the way it looks. if we get taken out i just prefer and think it would be more in the $10+ range.
-They limited kinross' take in the PP to the similar percentage they already held, good sign.
-Newmont would not just let kinross waltz in easily
-The geos have a lot power here and it is in their best interests to go it alone and JV with Newmont and or Kinross and if they don't like the way it is going they can "walk" and go play in the dirt somewhere else. that is what is great about them they are proving up a new system of mining and they hold the keys.
- as for agro, yes a valuable piece on the board and does bring in credibility of course and keeps a close eye on things for kinross but i am not sure he will have a huge amount to do in day to day things? i am more impressed with chad Williams with extensive mining analysis and director at Blackmont, quitting that job, putting a big bet on it with is own out of pocket money, etc. he has great ties More so then agro in the mining world.
i do agree, we are in for a great ride this year and beyond. lets hope we go it alone as long as we can fight for. cheers.
