A second core drill rig has been added to the site with a minimum of 6 more holes planned to further test the Helen Zone. A third core drill rig may be added in early 2008 to test other targets on the property. (its great we may have access to a third drill rig, hope they still have the rig for black canyon too)
Although exploration at Cove is at an early stage, underground access to the Helen Zone for closer-spaced delineation drilling may be warranted depending on drilling results over the next few months. Access to the Helen Zone could be achieved relatively quickly and inexpensively through the side wall of the existing Cove-McCoy open pit. (possible quick cash flow to further front more and more exploration and discovery, less share dilution and PP's)
i have mentioned this before but BemaB got access to Marcus Johnston's dissertation on cove McCoy ( about 250 pages) and we all hope that this and future drilling in all cove areas will prove up his ( marcus') ideas. IT will be very big and we are in VIT because of the expertise of both raul and MarcusRaulMarcus ( the rest of the crew is great too, ressel, correa, etc.) Cove was and is a puzzle that the big boys did not understand and could not visualize or figure out having to hand off to us little guys cause of these experts on the GEO team.
i have a call in to BemaB to get him the results.
