From what i read the most recent relief canyon drilling was challenging and also more a defining exercise to test what we have then to find the mother lode.
It seems that the geos MO is to be patient, calculated, not rush to the dead center to just find gold but take their time developing their ideas, testing them and hence, we soon hope to find out, get the full potential in them.
"The focus of the initial drill holes was on these off-set, post-mineral fault blocks to determine the optimum depths to those zones and to establish the depth to host rocks below the relatively shallow pediment. 2 holes drilled on the Relief Canyon property over the summer proved inconclusive due to drilling difficulties. Further structural mapping and drilling is required and is expected to take place in 2008. ( this answers the stockhouse question of what happened to the results at relief)
Approximately 8 kilometers to the south, in the portion of the property controlled 100% by Victoria, reconnaissance mapping has determined that gold grades up to 11 g/t occur in northwest structures within the old Antelope Springs mercury district.
