Dear VMS followers,
Today's update from our summer drilling campaign has returned another intersection of interest on a brand new target area. This time gold.
We are encouraged by the nature and frequency of new mineral showings that have been discovered on our 100% owned properties.
This intersection is located in an area of the Snow Lake VMS belt which hosts several mineralized zones, including the Kof deposit (mentioned in the release below) and, therefore, meets one of the key criteria we use in the selection of our targets: multiple occurrences of VMS style mineralization within a localized area. VMS deposits tend to occur in clusters, often with many smaller occurrences around larger deposits.
The gold intersected in the announcement today, though hosted in a shear zone, is within one of these target rich environments and gold is a primary indicator metal for VMS deposits which typically contain copper, zinc, silver and gold.
The geo team is reviewing priorities in the area and new targets will be defined.
Best regards,
