Dear VMS Followers,

Today's release provides an update that VMS and HudBay are committed to exploring in the belt and around our Reed Lake deposit. We look forward to additional targets being tested and follow-up work on our 100% owned recent discoveries, which have significant potential to add shareholder value.

We have announced three new discoveries within our 100% owned properties this year. This proves that our geological team and consultants are dedicated to making discoveries that will add shareholder value.

The first new discovery was announced on January 11, 2011. A gold discovery at our Sails Lake project featuring an intercept of 56.89 metres grading 1.21 grams/tonne gold. This zone is very close to surface and would be amenable to open pit bulk tonnage mining. The second discovery at Cowan River on April 13, 2011 intersected 9.81% copper over 1.37 metres in hole RE-11-001. The mineralization and alteration in this hole resembles our Reed Lake deposit and proves that this area has potential to host many more polymetallic massive sulphide deposits.

The third discovery is on our Copper project and is located near our Copperman deposit. The announcement on April 27, 2011 of a new zinc discovery in hole CP-11-006, grading 1.76% zinc over 2.04 metres is significant. Our geologists recognized hydrothermal alteration consisting of biotite, chlorite and sericitized rhyolite flows, all the ingredients for an alteration system associated with a base metal deposit.

We are currently completing additional drilling at our Sails Lake project following up on discovery hole SA-10-007 and a recently completed Induced Polarization geophysical survey. Results from this program are expected in two to three weeks.

You can expect continuing news as VMS and HudBay continue their aggressive drill programs near Snow Lake, Manitoba.

We look forward to discussing our progress with you.

Best regards,

Rick Mark
