its so quiet here but why? these seem to be ever more and more exciting times.. if you have the patience for this industry!
if you have any idea how the industry works you know it takes time to build a mine, it doesnt happen over nite. it also costs hundreds of millions of dollars, which VMS does not have. I for one dont want to see management dilute the shares anymore, especially at its current price.
The J/V with hudbay was obvious, smelter down the road, and the experience working in the region, i never doubted it would come. why would HBM let another big dog in their backyard? im just hoping VMS doesnt let them go for to little.
Now lets think back a bit to January. Some of you may Remember the Nickel Option with prophecy. Within that news release it was stated VMS would make a strategic holding at 8% of the company.
Moving onto the Events of today, Using the experience of the VMS management team, they snagged a few properties that they feel could host a deposit. They know they couldnt really further dilute the VMS share structure, but did not want to let this opportunity slip by. 45% of this new company is alot, especially if something were to be found.
Management wants to focus VMS on what it is named for, VMS deposits. and with a multitude of properties left in the snow lake region, they got alot of work ahead. with these 2 strategic holding, the potential for increasing shareholder value down the line is magnificant.
lately i have found this board to be very pessimistic, emotions running rampant. Remember to look at the facts, and not your feelings. Reed Lake has a discovery, and HBM wants it. that alone is reason to buy, everything else is just extra whipped cream.
on anothert note, how many of you honestly expected a discovery hole on that last drill program? if you did maybe you should do a little more research are to how this exploration stuff works, reed lake hitting on hole #2 doesnt happen every time, some deposits can take hundreds of holes to find.. think about the deposits that were expored for decades before something was found... management and the geologists needed to know what the earth looked like and were able to do much needed geological mapping. they can now set up towards the next program. Have some patience and take a reality check
