Hate to deflate your bubbles people (just a little bit), but I will put this into perspective.

In most copper-zinc deposits there are usually gold and silver found. What has been released to us is actually pretty normal.

Typically when the magma was issuing upward, the gold and silver were attracted to the ionization of the copper and hence the reason that you are going to find gold and silver mixed in with the copper and/or zinc.

This may not happen everywhere and it is good news that they are finding some in this deposit.

My dad worked in a couple of copper mines in the Rice Lake area back in the 50's and 60's. The great thing about having gold and silver in your deposit is that they go a long way for paying for transportation and smelting costs.

They used to truck all the ore to Sudbury and it would pay for all of those costs. Back in the day, the POG was not all that great, so it shows that they are definitely valuable to the company.

Today the POG and silver are awesome, and that means that any mineralization will be of benefit to the company.

That is what is great about this NR. VMS is still going to make its money on the copper.
