China's import of copper ore in July 2008 China imported 460,000 tons of copper ore valued at 1,031.784 million US dollars in July 2008. The import in January-July reached 3,140,000 tons valued at 6,760.926 million US dollars, up 19.1 percent and 35.1 percent respectively year on year.
