I was encouraged that UNXL is standing firm with respect to the MOU with GIS. The fact is that GIS is a current customer, so they are already on board with the technology, and obviously see value there. Their interest to adopt the technology and mass produce it speaks volumes.
Also, I like that Hawthorne is in talks with another such deal, in China. Again, that speaks volumes for the validity of the technology and its applications.
The GIS deal is still on the table. That and the China deal would put an entirely new face on this company. Hawthorne is not desperate to deal, which bodes well. And I also liked that they are talking about increasing the pricing as they move into volume production. That indicates the value of the product is a driver.
Still thinking Corning would do well to attempt a take over, as it appears glass will diminish over time.
