If Apple abandons glass for thinner plastic, as is being reported in the rumor mill, the pressure would be on GIS to run with it.

They're no dummies and likely leveraged a small company like UNXL to make a bad deal.  They might even be a source of the shorting if they are looking to acquire or just deal, hoping UNXL gets desperate.  That's probably why UNXL did the quick captial raise.

Too conspiratorial?  Apple and their friends are tough customers and will eat you alive, if it saves them a dime.

Since XTOUCH is in demand and seems to be gaining across the board acceptance, UNXL looks like it will weather the storm.

High stakes.  Let's hope they get it done and start a bidding war.
