How much would you pay for your own microcontroller company? $100 million? $1 billion? More? Spansion just bought Fujitsu’s entire 16- ad 32-bit MCU business for a cool $175 million, including the Japanese firm’s analog and mixed-signal products, too. That puts Spansion squarely into the embedded MCU business. So how come you’re not using their parts?
