XTouch Metal Mesh Touch Sensors and Diamond Guard Hard Coat Resin (Glass Replacement Technology)

Message: Re: question
I did not hear that from the SF webcast.
I think their big focus right now is getting some TI contract announcements out to the street. That could happen any moment from what I heard.
They did not present in virtually back to back conferences for nothing, imo.
They are supposedly qualified on several chips with TI. This partnership is focused on smaller screens in the 3" to 7" size category.
Then there is Synaptics, whose focus is with larger screens.
So the first order of business is to get qualified with TI and finalize those deals.
Secondly is Uniboss, whereby they will be focused on licensing deals.
INTEL is the Uniboss leader and don't foret that Fidelity stepped up bigtime in this last financing deal....so the table is set....but Reed needs to turn this corner on execution.
The INTEL relationshp should become apparent at CES in early January 2013, and then UNXL should be off and running.
The partner list looking at UNXL technology has been stated to be at over 50 companies, whether that is Diamond Guard or UniBoss technology...so it is fair to say their potential partner list is beyond huge.
Now whether they become the standard or not remains to be seen but they are cheaper and faster to market than the competition, not to mention they are an easier application as compared to the competition.
Once that first contract is announced I don't see anything holding them back, at this point. This could blow away any doubt or it could disappoint, as we currently have nothing other than the last announcement of Texas Instruments and Clearstream.
This is a big moment for UNXL to get it done.
