To whom it may concern:

I am opposed to the recent proposed transaction between Look Communications and the Bell and Rogers partnership, Inukshuk, in which Inukshuk will acquire Look's spectrum (2596 to 2686 MHz and 2689 to 2690 MHz inclusive).

The further consolidation of such strategic resources will be detrimental for the potential of improving the competitiveness of Canda's voice and communication industry, and is likely to result in further degradation of the countries ability to penetrate cell phone and wireless internet usage.

The current environment speaks for itself, Canada has rapidly lost standing in world rankings with respect to this key infrastructure which will promote future advancement in the key information technology area.

Last year's spectrum auction was designed to promote increased competition in the vital industry, this consolidation is a major backwards step and I urge you as a concerned citizen to block the sale of this asset. The further consolidation of infrastructure in the hands of an industry dominated by an oligoploy must be stopped.
