I'm in the a) category luckily.

But I have to ask the question I asked previously. I hope someone can explain if I am wrong.

If I am selling something worth a possible billion dollars why would I sell 300,000 worth of tax losses.

Would I not need them to lower the profit I made on the sale? To save the company money.

Am I mistaken here. Did these guys know they wouldn't get anything for the spectrum?
