I don't think there is any question of limited interest ... its hard to argue with fact ... retail investors don't have a lot of spare cash these days and may not want to risk it ... institutional investors will understand they can not accumulate a meaningful position

I think the market dictates the value of spectrum .... to my knowledge our spectrum is "better" than that which was auctioned off last year ... that makes its potential in similar market conditions .... I look at 68 bil pfizer just offerred for wyeth and say for the right stuff ... money is available ... is spectrum the rights stuff ... i ask two questions is wireless better than wired ... yes ... is speed better than slow ... yes .... spectrum is the infrastucture that will support wireless/faster

This is prime spectrum ... and there is only so much available.

I like its chances ... but hey that is what each investor has to assess for themselves ... history says this stuff has real value!

McGoey probably said what he has been told ... I think there will be a lot of coy comments made by all of the players.

I do not see anything that makes it pretty clear that it won't be a cash deal ... is this an opinion or is there something in the LOOK documentation saying the favoured a non cash deal?

More than a partnership McG has expressed considerable interest in a maximizing shareholder value .... that is the main focus of the exercise.

I agree it would be easier if they would announce their post sale plan ... but I think that limits the types of offers that might be made at a time of a liquidity crisis when creative M&A activity may result in the best return for shareholder's .... I'm not so skeptical about the intentions since I can see a myriad of ways to structure such a deal so I wouldn't pre judge what works out best. Over my career I have no choice but to remain open to anything that allows best returns even if it wasn't what I thought it would be when I was given an offer.

I agree non cash is more likely ... share swapping can avoid immediate tax implications ... with the potential size of the dollars involved makes tax consideration amongst the most important factors.

All the best.
