Given the performance of most funds and the predictions of analysts which get revised with each piece of news, I tend to think most of them are cheerleaders and raspberry givers.

Don't think many of them do much real thinking, none of them take risks except for them believing in each other and the people feeding them with the party line. they are just pigs at the trough, if you want a buy recommendation or a good rating something has got to be in it for them .... they can't make much money based upon their prognostications so the may as well be propoaganda machines.
