This time we have no money. If we have a solid business plan, I hope so....now it's been tuff to sell it. When would we all be able to benefit, I hope soon. I continue to buy in small quantities, at least I am trying to remain positive ;)
That's what the partnership will be for. It's not Look's part to bring the build-out dollars to the table -- they bring the $1,000,000,000 (approximate) worth of licenced spectrum. The fact of the matter is that Look is needed just as much as potential partners if pie is to be taken away from the incumbents.
The motorola news with Look, IMO, is pretty big as we can see that they are in with Sprint/Clearwire as well, and 6180 has stated that Globalive's backer is also associated with them also. It would seem that Look should be on everybody's radar screen at the moment considering Motorola's involvement (ie. validation of the use of Look's spectrum) whether one is an incumbent or a new entrant to Canada. As Johnny has stated in the past, the trading again does seem to be suspect -- I had two "all or none" bids in for 10,000 shares each of UBS at 15 cents for the past two days, and no fills. This despite the fact that some trades did go through on Thursday at 14.5 cents (I hate the 1/2 cent b.s.), but again my bids were unscathed -- they were each for 10,000 shares "all or none", so you would think that if somebody wanted out, they would've gladly dumped their shares to moi. I think 6180 is right when he posted on the other board about putting a sell in for LOK at 25 cents and seeing how fast it gets scooped. Now the big question is who is buying, and why? Actually, I guess I really don't care why as long as the share price rises or "pops" as InDaMoney talks about.
As I've stated before, IMO, the incumbentsstand to lose large here whether the FO rules are relaxed sooner or later. As we can see by Globalive, where there is a foreign will, there is a way. By the way, we haven't heard anything about Niagara lately. Oh to be a fly on the wall.
Good Luck Lads!!
