(Kitco News) - Gold is seeing a short covering bounce after December Comex futures prices hit a contract low Thursday and as gold prices overall are hovering near a 5.5-year low. In overnight news, the third-quarter Euro zone gross domestic product was reported up 0.3% from the second quarter and up 1.6%, year-on-year. The figures were just a bit weaker than expected.
