Yes Ike! Briggs compiled a target list of companies that Tyhee might buy. But, that was a while ago. Perhaps now, there are even more "For Sale" signs on the grounds of distressed producing or near-producing mines that Mr. Briggs, with some cash, could revitalize. They should be rather easy to find. As I recall, a list of about 600 was posted here. I'll try to dig it up.
