Neither silver or gold are profitable to mine (at an all in cost) at the current price levels.

How long would a hamburger stand stay in business selling hamburgers for $0.25 when they cost $0.35 to make?

There is only one reason why the free market system hasn't repriced silver and gold to levels considerably higher than where they are today...MANIPULATION!

Buy a Comex contract and hold it for delivery. You will be paid in cash not in metal. If you are a large holder of GLD shares (large enough to qualify for delivery) and you ask for delivery you will be settled in ("freshly minted") cash or its digitally deposited equivalent.

These are not "free" markets. They don't naturally correct as they should or silver and gold would be above the cost of production. The fact that these markets are and have been below the cost of production for a considerable period of time is all you need to know.

This will only end when the current monetary system is replaced with a more respectable one. Until then, anything and everything is guesswork. The question is whether Tyhee and other miners can survive long enough for the financial system to be reset and for the "inappropriate" control of these markets to be removed.

However that won't end the problem for most people. The financial reset will cause a huge devaluation of the massively overprinted currencies (that includes the U. S.) and the "something for nothing" people the country harbors will cause chaos on a level that is scarcely imaginable.

Bad as things are right now; we would do well to appreciate them as the "good old days" compared to what I see coming as a result of the current misgovernment of the planet.

Fortunately the coming "really bad days" will be cut short as man's mis-management of the earth will have become a universally established fact. A wise man was once inspired to write, "Man's way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking, even to direct his step."

Those governing this world are about to have the rug pulled out from under their feet and there is absolutely nothing that they can do about it.

Whether gold and silver get repriced as they should is to me a moot point.

I bought my shares in Tyhee years ago. I hope (for my own ego) that they are successful in spite of what has been done to the mining industry by the corrupt financial and political systems of this mad, mad world.

P.
