Very interesting timing on the announcement today, makes one wonder if they thought Tyhee was going under and they could take it over or facilitate someone else doing it.

Obviously they would need someone to operate it, which would have been an obstacle, but money solves many problems.

However, all that was stymied by the announcement of acquisitions and the indefinite hold put on the Yellowknife project while Tyhee expands in other directions. Seems to have created some urgency on the part of the Dene/Yellowknife nations. This announcement is very good news for a number of reasons.

I am always impressed by this TDC team. I believe they have - or will have - the capacity to acquire while developing both the Yellowknife as well as the acquisitions, but may need to expand the team with some more guarantees of willingness on the part of the MVEIRB and the Dene/Yellowknife nations to facilitate development. I think this announcement will concentrate the minds of prospective acquirees also, as they realize this company is alive and well.

In the meantime the team is waiting for a fantastic deal - not just a good deal - on the acquisitions. Early days yet. Ike
