When I lamented over Tyhee's low share price,in an email to me this weekend, Dave was reminded of something he was once warned about by a very successful investor who told him,

...the problem with aiming for production is that the time to bring something from discovery through to production now typically is between 10 to 15 years. The "junior mining cycle" or "venture cycle" is less than 8 years. It means you'll have to go through at least one, and potentially up to 3 downturns. Almost impossible to keep a junior running through these dips.
