Looking granularly,

1977 = 2009

1979 = now (we are going 1/2 as fast as in the seventies)

Peak occurred Jan 1980 ~ Jan 2015 if double time frame holds

Similar move would result in 4875 in Jan 2015

Half that move would result in 3270 in Jan 2015 (for the glass half empty crowd)

I'm in for either.
