Great Basin Gold is in South Africa unfortunately and all that goes with that, it has serious labour and union problems and has been frisked for considerable money by the Black Empowerment people, although the CEO/ manager did resign because of bad planning around the engineering of the mine as well. They have another project in the US which also has problems with bad planning around water management issues, same guy in charge. Perfect storm. Not entirely unexpected in South Africa and they have massive resources when (if) they can deal with the financial and labour issues and get back on track.
