As is often the practice...

Almost without exception, commodities are up this morning. Minutes before Bernanke's congressional committee testimony, gold (and silver) deteriorate straight down..even while the dollar weakens. Look, look, there is no inflation here...

Going to have a new tire put on my 2006 Chevrolet HHR this afternoon. Cost of tire $201.
