About Tyhee' s drill strategy, you mentioned,

Ike, in the good old days we could present these concerns to Dr. Webb, and have quickly gotten back his usual frank and thorough explanation. Now, with him less available to us, we may not easily understand the exploration rationale of a PhD geologist who devoted his entire professional life to successfully discovering more than 2 million ounces of Yellowknife gold at a discovery cost of about $25 per ounce.

I don't know what a different drill strategy would have delivered. But, at Tyhee's ongoing discovery rate of one ounce of gold for every $25 spent exploring, you might image how many more resource ounces Tyhee would have today if it had greater financial resources to fund more drilling. It would seem that the limit on coming up with more resources was capped by a tight exploration budget, not limited by discoverable gold.
