Resource extraction

Bi-annual cross country trip from coast to coast is under way. Still seeing the further decay of the rust belt states. North Dakota is humming as usual. Gas extraction and agriculture. Will have to bypass Montana and Idaho due to high winds this trip. Commodity based economies are not feeling much pain.
NWT will surely experience much of the same, as new mining projects commence construction followed by years of production.
My hope is that the First Nations affected by Tyhee are treated as partners and will benefit as well as the shareholders. DW obviously is aware of the importance of healthy relationships. In BC we have hopefully learned from the past. Many new projects working their way through to permitting with their support. Gone are the days of ram rodding through a project without consultation.
After being disappointed in the SP in the past as we hit new milestones for Gold, I fully expect not to see any rise in the SP until a positive FS is released and a permit is issued. From that point financing will become easier.
In the meantime, we can all play the silver volatility for fun and profit. With the profits you can redeploy in your favorite undervalued companies. My one percent ownership of TDC has only come from excess profits from SLW and SVM over the years. This is how one accumulates serious wealth. Take your profits. Frugality and investing the excess has never gone out of fashion. Buy and hold is not always the answer.
