I think you are conflating a super pit with a single Central Processing Mill.
The plan has always been one central mill. There will be a different pit at Nicholas, another at Ormsby, and another eventually at Clan Lake. the pit at Clan Lake is not in the current EA process, and would eventually have to start its own EA process. The pit at Clan Lake could be a super pit, covering a number of discoveries in Clan Lake area.
My own view is that since an operating mine at Ormsby will gain new discovieries at goodwin lake as well as under Nick Lake, Ormsby and eventually goodwin, then it may well be more econonoical for a second mill to be made, as part of its own EA process for Clan Lake. There may well be a number of other ore bodies discovered within 10 km of clan lake, making for two centres of gold milling, each with 2 or 3 pits and unerground workings. Remember, we have an entire gold privince here. Compare to Timmins/Red Lake and other areas where there are several mills in a regional context. Tyhee is the dominant holder in a region that is chock full of gold that central banks need!
And I am a central banker, as I am a Tyhee shareholde!
Just to keep it clear, there will never be a 40 kilometer wide pit encompassing Nicholas, Ormsby and Clan lake.
Or did I read you wrong?
