It reminds me of when I first walked on a property I was developing in Yellowknife. I walked around on top of the rocks where I would later blast out 800 tons of rock. visualizing what it would be like to build the full concrete basement in the future hole was a very positive step in the 6 month project. Soon enough, I had a drilling righ here to drill 3m deep holes for the grid, and then the blast mats were applied as each section was blasted. Then removing the rock was a big operation, but the guy who got truckload after truckload of clean fill was very happy, to say the least. Once I was drilling rebar into the rock and forming up the foundation walls, things were really moving.
I still have some chips of rocks from that project, and the occasional speck if the distinctive greenish Yellowknife gold is visible in a few of them.
So visualizing the sites where blasting and contstruction will take place is a very positive step, and one that really turns me on!
