In addition to the Detour Lake deposit, Red Lake Gold Mines, part of Gold Corp., are another example of an Archean deposit in Canada that has done very will. With grades about 26gpt, it looks like only the Discovery Mine on Tyhee's land has done any better, as it mined an average of one ounce per tonne (31 gpt) for a total of a million ounces during its mine life. Seems a shame Tyhee couldn't continue this operation.
