This reluctance by the US to allow mining projects is not new. It has been growing for quite some time. I have given up virtually all of my PMs mining in the States as a result.

Between this and renewed reluctance to begin new nuclear projects, I suppose it's a good fit. For we would have been mining in the dark. Sarcasm intended.
