Why is the DTC sluggishness affecting only a couple of trading platforms? I think (but not sure) that my broker actually buys and sells on the Canadian exchange and makes the currency conversion. This would give them yet another opportunity to make profit (via currency xchange) and also explain why some brokers who have no Canadian platform are now stuck in the mud. But frankly, this is all supposition on my part. Or maybe a WAG.

Does anyone know for certain why only a few are affected?
