Message: JP May have Sold-Out Tyhee, But Has He Really Sold Any TDC Shares?

Golden Kiwi sent me a message the other day which made me wonder how many others are under the impression that Jim Puplava has been selling his reputed 20 million plus TDC shares. Here’s his message, followed by my comments:

“Hi Baires,

I have seen a lot of messages on the Tyhee board talking about the departure of JP as a shareholder of Tyhee.

I was just wondering how you know that JP has definitely sold. Was there an email or q-line answer where he specifically states this?

I know that I bash Kimber management because I am frustrated with their progress. But that doesn't mean I intend to sell. I wonder how difficult it would be for JP to sell 22 million shares. Tyhee may not be going in the direction JP wants, but he would take a large loss if he sold. I assume his average cost is around 40c ? If he had to sell for 10c he has lost 4x his investment. He would need to have an alternative in mind that would provide a 4x gain just to get back to even. He may not like Tyhee, but he probably does believe it will go higher....eventually. I just wonder how he justifies to himself and to his clients selling at such a low level and what he has in mind as an alternative investment to recoup the loss.

If he is not happy with the direction of Tyhee, then bad mouthing would seem like the only way he has to get his message across. Hes not a board member so there are limited strings he can pull. I am sure JPs bad mouthing has resulted in a lot of emails and phone calls to Dave Webb to please explain. Maybe that is JPs only way of trying to push Dave Webb into the direction he wants.

Your thoughts?

Regards,
Golden Kiwi

Dear GK,

Unless this is a sign that I'm further losing my mind, I do not recall ever saying that JP has sold his TDC's. What I remember saying is that he's no longer supporting Tyhee, or words to that affect. And, in that sense, he's "out of Tyhee".

I once posted a message regarding a fantasy I had that could explain how JP might benefit from his Tyhee bashing.

I fantasized that he could have alerted all his friends and clients to the possibility of a lower TDC price resulting from his public devaluation of Webb and company, and that they might take advantage of this buying opportunity to lower their cost basis.

But, that was just a fantasy of mine. I have no idea whether that ever happened.

What I do know, is that JP never responded to my requests for him to clarify his unsupported devaluations of Tyhee. Nonetheless, point for point, as was the case with Mr. Viti’s concerns, I showed JP how he was mistaken. Even so, he never replied to those emails. Curiously enough, what I felt were Jim’s misleading, erroneous sentiments echoed much of the garbage seen on Stockhouse.com over the last few years. I was shocked by what Jim was saying, and what immediately jumped to mind was an unthinkable thought: “Could there be a connection? “

Regarding what loss JP would take if he sold his TDC at current prices. My best guess is that he bought a lot in 2005 when TDC was trading below 20 cents, and at times even lower, at current prices, 14/15 cents.

Cheers,

Baires
