I said that I was an investor concerned with trading activity in TDC on the TSX Venture.

It appeared to me that someone using Scotia Capital on the sell side is manipulating the share price by programming in 500 share lot sales every two minutes, putting a lower ask after each larger buy order is cleared out. the effect seems to be pegging / supressing the share price and thwarting the normal price finding mechanism of the marketplace. It appears to be hurting me.

I am concerned that the exchange is allowed to operate in a way that is in breach of the IIROC Universal Market Ingegrity Rules on Manipulative and Deceptive Practices, secion 2.2 (2). [words to that effect]

I want this investigated and I want a reference number so that I can follow up to see if it was properly investigated.

I also expressed concern that if instutions and large traders are allowed to manipulate the marketplace and hurt the small investor, that would be very unfair to small investors like me.

But I'm just a simple tile setter, and it would be far better if HUBERT or other looked into this and gave their thoughts. If you look at LII quotes, you may find the same concerns. I'm busy now, so if anybody can take this discussion further, please do. I'm out for the day. Have a good weekend.
